Some / Thing: Volume Two, Number One, Winter 1966: A Vietnam Assemblage

David Antin and Jerome Rothenberg (ed.)

$600.00

New York: Very Good. Faint wear along the spine due to the binding, and some slight creasing to the lower left corner of the front cover, else Near Fine. All perforations on the cover are strongly intact and interior pages are crisp and clean.

Third of five issues published of this insightful and influential underground magazine. This issue is dedicated to "A Vietnam Assemblage," released during the early days of the Vietnam War. The cover was designed by Andy Warhol with perforated glue-backed yellow stickers, each featuring the text "BOMB HANOI", designed to be detached and disseminated. Features multiple notable contributors including Allen Ginsberg, Jackson Mac Low, Carol Berge, Charles Bukowski, Kathleen Fraser, Gerard Malanga, Jess and Carolee Schneeman, among others. Interspersed with quotations from newspapers, magazines, and photo captions from the Associated Press and elsewhere. A wonderful assemblage. Scarce in such complete condition.
