French translation of Earl Anthony's controversial document of his time with the Black Panther Party written shortly after his expulsion from the group in 1969 after serving in the Los Angeles chapter as Deputy Minister of Information.

Originally published in the U.S. by Dial Press in 1970 and widely criticized by active members of the Black Panther Party as being opportunistic and petty, it nonetheless remains an intriguing report from a former member of the movement.

Translated into the french by Anne Paquier-Galliard and published by Alioune Diop's Présence Africaine imprint.
